Being a Marketing Badass, maybe my coffee was a little bitter this morning or maybe I’m just going to be unabashedly BLUNT. Add VERY relevant content that’s written properly (or at least by someone whose English is fluent), OR failing that, get the best software to easily pull content you can use to save heaps of time and effort. 

#4. Get traffic and visitors to your site

You can:

• Say a prayer that the Google gods send you visitors
• Pay for traffic, advertise on FB, Youtube, LinkedIn, Google, Bing, etc.

But the BEST is organic traffic from the search engines— Hands Down!

#5. Do your onsite ranking factors

#6. Set up your site to CONVERT traffic
Things like your wording, the color of your CTA, box border colors, and the placement of your shopping basket make a difference. 

Do you think it’s a coincidence that Amazon, Walmart, and others have their shopping carts to the right of the page above the fold? No, they’ve spent thousands testing a myriad of tweaks to determine what yields the best results.

#7. You need to get links (and these aren’t the yummy sausage links either!)

You can wait for a very long time for links to come naturally, or you can reach out to relevant blogs and write content for them in hopes of gaining some links back to your site. If you have deeper pockets, you can build multiple authority sites that give you links at will. This takes time and money because you’ll need to hunt down expired domains, buy them, host them on unique servers, and you’ll need to update your content regularly. 

Keep in mind that you’ll need a varied assortment of links including but not limited to social signals, anchor text links, dofollow links,  no-follow links, raw URL links, and quite a bit more.
